Lapland Hotels Pallas

This traditional Alpine hotel is situated amid the unique landscapes of the stunning Pallas-Yllastunturi National Park and the ski centre includes a ski hire shop, ski maintenance room and ski storage facility.

The untouched Alpine countryside provides spectacular scenery and easy access to cross-country skiing trails, downhill skiing or the possibility to view the Northern Lights trips. During summer, trekking and hiking trips can be undertaken into the National Park.

What was the highlight of Lapland Hotels Pallas
Snowy paradise.
Awesome location in the Pallas-Yllästunturi National Park. Excellent breakfast. The halfboard meal is excellent value (€35) although it's also worth trying a few items from the a-la-carte menu. I visited in March whilst there was still a decent amount of snow. Good value ski (downhill and cross-country) rental and snowshoes, snowboards - all onsite. Closest ski lift is 1 minute away. Decente sized (dated) rooms, but the beds are small (narrow singles) The daily ski tours are worth doing (included as part of your stay at the hotel). Transfer from Kittila airport to the hotel takes around 1 hour.
Next time I will hire a car to get to and from the hotel. Whilst the transfer service is good value (€30 each way, per person), they are not too flexible with the pick-up times - which is important if flying out from Kittila airport, and if you're waiting for your baggage to arrive on the carousel at the airport don't expect them to try to contact you or wait around for you.

Good hotel for nature lovers
The hotel is in pure nature. Wonderful landscape and peaceful area. Reindeers guaranteed.
Hotel is very old and simple equipped. Good for hikers and nature lovers, but no bike rental or similar available.

What was the highlight of Lapland Hotels Pallas
Delightful hidden getaway
Lovely authentic hotel, tucked out of the way, we think they were suprised that 2 aussies came to stay. Rooms were small but cosy, shared bathrooms down the hall. Loved the breakfasts and all the choices. We even found a swimming hole to plunge into after skiing for the day. Sauna was being rebuilt, so we had to do it tough :-)

Wonderful
Breakfast, great! Great atmosphere overall. Loved the fact that a sauna was available in the building. Views up to Pallastunturi were amazing.
